International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that David Meyer has joined the Firm’s Real Estate & Land Use practice group in Minneapolis as a Partner.
Mr. Meyer focuses his practice primarily in the areas of real estate and commercial lending. He represents developers, sellers, purchasers, landlords and tenants in all aspects of real estate law, including financing, leasing, acquisitions and dispositions of office, industrial, residential and retail properties. He also represents lenders in local, regional and multistate credit transactions, including construction and term loans, revolving credit facilities and loan workouts. He is a certified Minnesota State Bar Association Real Property Law Specialist.
Mr. Meyer joins Dorsey from Lindquist & Vennum LLP, where he was a partner. He has a J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College Law School (now Mitchell Hamline School of Law) and a B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota. He has been recognized by Minnesota Super Lawyers. Mr. Meyer is a former member of the City of Shorewood Planning Commission.
Mr. Meyer is part of a team of highly experienced real estate attorneys that has recently joined Dorsey in Minneapolis from Lindquist & Vennum. That team also includes partners LB Guthrie, Marcus Mollison, Laura Graf and Anne Olson and associate Sarah Zach.
