We helped our client Golden Queen Mining Co. Ltd. complete a joint venture transaction with Gauss Holdings LLC. The transaction involved the investment by Gauss of $110 million in exchange for a 50 percent joint venture interest in the project. We advised Golden Queen on all U.S. corporate, securities, tax and mining aspects of this complex cross-border transaction.
