International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Michael L. Weaver has joined the Firm’s Corporate Group in Minneapolis as a Partner.
Mr. Weaver has extensive experience advising cooperatives, corporations, limited liability companies and other business clients, primarily in the food and agribusiness and renewable energy industries, in a wide range of matters, including business structuring, governance, joint ventures, capital formation and debt financing, public and private securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Weaver joins Dorsey from the Lindquist & Vennum law firm in Minneapolis, where he has been a partner since 2001. Mr. Weaver has a JD degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and a BSB degree from the University of Minnesota.
