We took the case on appeal and identified a number of errors by the VA after examining a voluminous record. Minutes before a court-ordered mediation, VA counsel agreed that the agency had erred and offered to prepare a joint motion for remand (which was ordered by the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims), giving our client the right to a new medical exam and re-adjudication using the proper legal standard.
