International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that 12 lawyers in the Firm’s Salt Lake City office were ranked by Chambers and Partners in its annual survey, Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2018. Dorsey Partners Alan Bell, David Marx and Nolan Taylor were ranked in the Corporate/M&A practice area. Partner William Prince was ranked in the Environment, Natural Resources & Regulated Industries practice area. Partners Bryon Benevento, Annette Jarvis and Steve Marsden were ranked in the Litigation: General Commercial practice area. Partners Brett Foster, Grant Foster, Bryan Pratt, Marcus Simon and Associate Tiffany Shimada were ranked in the Intellectual Property practice area. These individual lawyer recognitions in Salt Lake City are among a total of 57 ranked lawyers and eight “recognized practitioners” across nine U.S. Dorsey offices.
In addition to this individual recognition, Chambers also ranked Salt Lake City’s Corporate/M&A, Environment, Natural Resources & Regulated Industries, Intellectual Property and Litigation: General Commercial practice areas, with the Corporate/M&A practice group being ranked as Band 1, the highest ranking available for a practice group. These practice rankings were among 22 Dorsey practices that were ranked and four more that were otherwise recognized for 2018 by Chambers on a state or national basis.
