International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that three lawyers in the Firm’s Anchorage office were ranked by Chambers and Partners in its annual survey, Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2017. Dorsey Partner Robert Bundy was ranked in the Litigation: General Commercial practice area. Partners Michael Mills and Richard Rosston were ranked in the Corporate/M&A practice area, with Mr. Mills also separately ranked in the Corporate/M&A: Bankruptcy practice area. Mr. Rosston was also separately ranked in the Real Estate practice area. In all, the three Dorsey Anchorage lawyers received a total of five individual rankings, including two rankings of Band 1, one Band 2 ranking, a Senior Statesman ranking for Mr. Bundy and a Star Individual ranking for Mr. Rosston. These individual lawyer recognitions in Anchorage are among a total of 54 ranked lawyers and five “recognized practitioners” across nine U.S. Dorsey offices.
In addition to this individual recognition, Dorsey’s Anchorage Corporate/M&A, Litigation: and General Commercial practice groups received Band 1 rankings from Chambers, the highest ranking available for a practice group. The Real Estate practice group received a Band 2 ranking. These practice rankings were among 21 Dorsey practices that were ranked and three more that were otherwise recognized for 2017 by Chambers on a state or national basis.
Chambers surveys and interviews clients and lawyers across the United States to determine which firms and attorneys are considered leaders in their field. Rankings assess key qualities in the legal field, including technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence and commitment.
