Dorsey & Whitney’s London Corporate team and two of its partners, Kate Francis and Mark Taylor, were ranked by Chambers & Partners for Corporate/M&A in its recently released annual survey, Chambers UK 2025.

Kate Francis, who is also co-head of the Dorsey & Whitney London office, said: “It’s an honour for the London Corporate team to be recognized by Chambers & Partners, as well as myself and Mark individually. These accolades are a credit to the high-quality work of the whole team here in London.”

Dorsey’s London office was elevated to Band 3 in the Corporate/M&A: £10 – 100 million category, marking a rise from Band 4 in 2024. This achievement follows a significant year for the Corporate practice, which included advising listed law firm DWF on its recommended takeover by private equity investor, Inflexion; and advising Manara Minerals on its acquisition of a 10% stake in Vale Base Metals Ltd.

Kate Francis was ranked in Band 1 in Corporate/M&A: £10 – 100 million, up from Band 2 in 2024. She was recognized for her knowledge in domestic and cross-border M&A and “all-around fantastic advice on highly complicated and first-time-ever matters." She was also described as “one of the most experienced and capable practitioners in the market.”

Mark Taylor was ranked in Band 3 in Corporate/M&A: £10 – 100 million. His practice focuses on public and private M&A. Mark was praised for his “excellent level of client service” and his “solutions-focused” approach regarding issues governed by the Takeover Code.
