International law firm Dorsey & Whitney is pleased to announce that Associate Michael Galen will participate in the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges’ (NCBJ) 13th annual Next Generation (NextGen) program at its Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL, from October 19-22, 2022.
The program will host 40 up-and-coming bankruptcy practitioners with 5 to 10 years of experience for exclusive panels, workshops and networking opportunities. Only one attorney from a single law firm may participate each year. Participants must demonstrate a commitment to principles of civility, ethics and professionalism, as well as continued educational development of bankruptcy professionals and bankruptcy activities that will benefit the public, members of the bar and the court system.
Michael’s practice focuses on corporate restructurings, bankruptcy litigation, creditors’ rights, and distressed acquisitions, serving clients such as secured and unsecured creditors, purchasers of distressed assets and other constituents in connection with in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Michael also advises clients with respect to commercial disputes and related litigation.
Founded in 1926, The National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges is an association dedicated to providing continuing legal education to judges, lawyers and other professionals to improve the practice of law in the Bankruptcy Courts of the United States.
