Health Plan Developments
The coronavirus has led Congress, federal agencies, and the states to mandate new requirements for health plans, relief for participants, beneficiaries, and plan sponsors with respect to a number of deadlines, and options with respect to telemedicine.  This session looked at these developments and discussed considerations for employers.

Litigation Update
Health plan litigation continues to increase.  This session reviewed current trends and discuss steps employers can take in reviewing their health plan documents.

Employers have taken many steps to assist employees in this time of transition, from extending health coverage to individuals on unpaid leave (or furlough) to assistance payments.  This session looked at employer options under the Code and IRS guidance to assist employees.
