Session 2: Focus China: Great Rewards, Great Risk
China provides fertile soil for great business opportunities and commensurate risks. FCPA risks remain high, with state owned or controlled companies doing business with U.S. private enterprises. China remains in the top two countries generating FCPA-related investigations. Along with that is the constant threat of commercial bribery, theft of soft assets, running afoul of China regulations, and tariff reprisal. In short, China is a wonderful, complex country offering great risks. This Panel will address those opportunities and risks, offer suggestions for confronting those risks, and examine the influence of Chinese culture on internal investigations.
