The project is anchored by a Marriot Hotel and Conference Center, a Von Maur department store and a University of Iowa Hospital Medical Clinic. We helped defeat legal challenges attempting to halt the project and carefully balanced the interests of the developers and the city by facilitating a package that benefited various partners through tax increment financing.
