Brad represents clients on significant business, real estate, clean tech, and sport & entertainment transactions.
Brad has built a career as a general counsel to companies large and small. He represents clients on complex business matters often involving the intersection of law, public policy, finance, and real estate. Brad has represented clients both as an in-house general counsel and in private practice. He serves and has served as a director of multiple for profit and non-profits companies.
Brad has used his real estate, public finance, legal experience, and leadership skills to drive complex economic development, real estate, sports, and a host of other initiatives to successful completion or through times of crisis. His real estate development and finance experience includes infrastructure finance, mixed-use commercial developments, master planned communities, home building, golf courses, and publicly owned professional sports facilities. He has managed complex litigation matters and negotiated several high profile disputes to successful resolution.
Brad was appointed by the past three Governors to various boards and commissions including as past chairman of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority. He was chairman of the Arizona Host Committee for the 2016 College Football Playoff Championship Game, and served on 2017 NCAA Final Four Phoenix Host Committee. Brad also serves on the Greater Phoenix Economic Council executive board, is an executive board member of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, and is a past chairman of WESTMARC.

Real Estate
- Represented the owner of 16,000 low-income housing units with all tax credits, acquisitions, dispositions, financings and limited partnership restructurings across the US.
- Represented a large biotechnical company on its acquisition of a $60 million commercial office building from a municipal seller.
- Represented a private university on a “swap” of college campuses with the satellite campus of a large state university.
- Represented the owner of a golf course portfolio of eight courses on its operational and transactional legal matters, including the eventual disposition of its golf courses.
- Representing the largest public utility company in Arizona on various real estate and public policy matters, including economic development related to Arizona State Trust Land matters.
- Represented the nation's largest owner of residential real estate in various disposition, acquisition and related transactions.
Education
- Represented the largest Arizona-based charter management organization on the finance, land acquisition and entitlement of multiple new schools.
- Represented another large Arizona-based charter management organization in the site selection and land acquisition for the development of a new school in Surprise, Arizona.
- Represented the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority in the negotiation of funding for the construction of spring training facilities for the Cincinnati Reds in Goodyear, Arizona, the Milwaukee Brewers spring training facility in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Oakland A’s spring training facility in Mesa, Arizona.
