As an associate in Dorsey’s Trademark, Copyright, and Advertising Group, Breanne works closely with brand owners to develop and implement comprehensive trademark and copyright prosecution and enforcement strategies. With a background in mechanical engineering, Breanne has experience understanding complex technologies and the importance of protecting all aspects of a brand’s intellectual property rights. Breanne advises clients on long and short-term strategies using creative solutions which lead to stronger trademark portfolios.
In addition, Breanne also counsels clients on artificial intelligence, domain name enforcement, internet-based fraud and infringement, ecommerce platforms, and advertising/marketing materials.

Trademark Clearance, Prosecution, and Maintenance
- Counsel on the development, availability, registrability, and strength of proposed trademarks.
- Conduct trademark clearance searches.
- Coordinate filing and maintenance of international trademark portfolios for market-leading clients.
- Overcome Office Actions issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Trademark and Intellectual Property Enforcement
- Protect world-famous brands and develop international trademark enforcement strategies for institutional clients.
- Advise clients on enforcement measures for misappropriation of trademarks, including demand letters, litigation, and trademark coexistence agreements.
- Successfully leverage new reexamination and expungement proceedings under the Trademark Modernization Act (TMA).
- File and prosecute Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) complaints resulting in recovery of domain names for clients.
Advertising, Marketing, and Entertainment Materials
- Counsel on proposed product packaging, advertising, and promotional materials for proper trademark use.
- Draft and advise on sweepstakes, promotions, and giveaway rules.
- Negotiate publishing contract settlement and buyout agreements.
- Draft location and release agreements for on-site filming events.
Copyright Prosecution
- Obtain copyright registrations for works in a variety of mediums.
- Strategize on global copyright prosecution and enforcement to combat counterfeit goods.
