Overview

Lisa leverages over 20 years of experience to skillfully advise employers on a full range of employment issues.

Lisa’s practice includes counseling on day-to-day issues and goes beyond to advising on the likes of executive recruitment and terminations, redundancies and changes to terms and conditions, holiday pay, outsourcing, apprenticeship levy, gender pay reporting and sensitive discrimination, whistleblowing, and other employment claims.

Lisa has significant experience advising employers on issues involving trade unions. In this capacity she advises on collective consultation obligations, challenging industrial action, defending claims for alleged breaches of trade union laws and union recognition and de-recognition.

Lisa has considerable experience working on corporate transactions, acting on behalf of both sellers and purchasers, on asset (TUPE) transfers and share sales, and on private equity arrangements. As part of this, Lisa has often supported US law firms on corporate matters (when a UK employment lawyer is unavailable) or project managed lawyers in other European jurisdictions on their behalf.

Lisa acts for clients in a range of sectors, from high street retailers at one end to banks and other financial services institutions at the other, both nationally and internationally.
