Overview

Branden focuses on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate governance, and general corporate law. 

Branden advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in complex domestic and international business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, and leveraged buyouts.

Branden also advises clients in connection with the negotiation of partnership and LLC agreements, corporate governance, and commercial contracting. He has advised clients across a broad range of industries, including energy and energy transition, healthcare, infrastructure, technology, and food and beverage. He also maintains an active pro bono practice

Prior to joining Dorsey & Whitney LLP, Branden practiced in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
