Intellectual Property Litigation:
- Tammy regularly submits DMCA takedown notices and pursues other avenues which protect and enforce her clients’ marks outside of formal litigation.
- Tammy successfully implemented a strategy aimed at protecting her client Instructure’s valuable trademark rights and obtained a preliminary injunction prohibiting further use of Instructure’s mark.
- Tammy represented a patent owner in enforcement actions against a competitor and obtained a preliminary injunction and then permanent injunction on behalf of her client.
- Tammy assisted her client in pursuing its trade dress and trademark infringement rights and in asserting claims for false advertisement. Tammy played a central role in successfully obtaining a preliminary injunction to protect her client’s trademark rights.
- Tammy played a leading role in a complex intellectual property dispute concerning theft-of-invention and trade secrets related to technologies aimed at driving nuclear waste classification and providing alternative waste disposal options.
- Tammy obtained a favorable settlement and permanent injunction after top-level employees violated restrictive covenants in employment agreements and took trade secrets to new employer.
- Tammy successfully settled a dispute related to online terms and conditions (“clickwrap agreement”).
- Tammy successfully litigated breach of non-compete obligations on behalf of a client leading to a favorable settlement.
- Tammy played a leading role in complex litigation involving a dispute between a manufacturer and a supplier under Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code.
- Tammy successfully represented an insurance company in an action against one of the world’s largest reinsurance brokers. After a nine-week jury trial, the trial team obtained a $24 million jury verdict on behalf of the client.
- Tammy obtained a favorable settlement on behalf of her client after a former employee brought an action related to the ownership of the company.
