Overview
Gabriel routinely advises a variety of corporate clients, individuals, financial institutions, creditors, and debt servicers on a diverse array of commercial and contractual disputes, including obtaining pre-suit provisional remedies like receiverships and replevin for secured creditors and lessors, commercial lease enforcement, construction litigation, alternative dispute resolution through arbitration and mediation, and defense of class action claims.
Additionally, he has successfully defended many Fortune 500 companies, including multiple in the top 50, against lawsuits seeking upwards of $100+ million, and likewise has secured multi-million-dollar resolutions in favor of his clients. Gabriel’s practice has also taken him to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, where he has briefed multiple appeals, and obtained favorable rulings on every case decided by the Court.
Gabriel has also served as general counsel for a chamber of commerce, advising the board and executive committee regarding a range of issues, such as the impacts of public records laws on the organization, as well as its private-public governance structure and handling of public funds. Based on his experience working with the chamber of commerce and many other companies over the years, Gabriel incorporates a business mindset into his legal practice, aiming to resolve clients' legal issues through efficient litigation management, while always bearing in mind the cost and liability associated with each individual case.
