Overview

Dylan is an associate in Dorsey's Intellectual Property Litigation Group and, with a background in software development and computer science, has a practice focused on intellectual property rights enforcement and contract disputes.

Dylan has assisted with federal district court litigation, state court litigation and arbitrations involving claims of trademark and copyright infringement, as well as breach of contract, fraud, and patent infringement.

Dylan has experience counseling some of the most cutting-edge technology companies in all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, and trial. His recent experience includes working with prominent clients including Meta, Tee Turtle, Vacasa, and TikTok. Dylan also contributes to Dorsey Legal Arcade, which focuses on legal developments in the constantly changing world of video game law.

  • Stitch Editing Ltd. v. TikTok, Inc., U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Defended TikTok against claims of trademark infringement relating to use of the term “Stitch” for a creation feature in the TikTok app.
  • JetBlue Airways Corp. v. Airblue Ltd., Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Defending the second largest airline in Pakistan in an opposition relating to the mark “Airblue” for air transportation services.
  • Verizon in patent infringement actions regarding network infrastructure and mobile devices.
