Amy Gustafson

As an associate in Dorsey’s patent group, Amy’s practice focuses on patent-related matters for medical device, mechanical, software, and agribusiness technologies.

Amy leverages her background in biomedical engineering to capture multiple technical areas of an invention in patent applications and throughout prosecution.

Before attending law school, Amy worked as a Patent Agent. As a Patent Agent her practice focused on cardiac rhythm management, neuromodulation, and surgical devices, though she also had opportunities to work on a wide variety of technology beyond medical devices including mechanical devices, software, and sports equipment.
