Brett C. Gilmore

Brett's practice covers many areas of commercial litigation, including business and contract disputes, public records requests, restrictive covenants, legal malpractice, employment, intellectual property, and appeals.

Brett excels in high-stakes situations and has won cases in state and federal trial courts and courts of appeal throughout the country. His successes include favorable decisions in multiple cases involving damages claims exceeding $200 million. Brett attended the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where he graduated second in his class, received awards for excellence in legal writing and oral advocacy, and served as senior managing editor of Arizona Law Review. In recognition of his outstanding academic achievements, Brett was named a distinguished scholar — the James E. Rogers College of Law’s highest honor. After law school, Brett clerked for Vice Chief Justice A. John Pelander of the Arizona Supreme Court.
