Overview

MADISON FOCUSES HER PRACTICE ON ADVISING A VARIETY OF CLIENTS ON VARIOUS COMPLEX COMMERCIAL LITIGATION DISPUTES, AS WELL AS CREDITOR’S RIGHTS MATTERS.

Madison has represented clients in federal and state court proceedings across a wide range of industries including real estate, finance, banking, construction, trusts and estates, employment, and intellectual property. She also has experience conducting post-judgment enforcement and collection for clients.

Madison also devotes substantial time to pro bono activities, including representing plaintiffs in wrongful conviction matters and advising pro se litigants on a variety of diverse legal issues.

Experience

Representative Experience

  • Represented commercial landlords in connection with litigation for unpaid lease obligations against tenants and guarantors. Obtained favorable settlement.
  • Represented professional sports organization in connection with a breach of contract dispute. Succeeded on summary judgment against opposing party, resulting in a favorable judgment and eventual settlement.
  • Represented banks in connection with unpaid loan obligations against borrowers. Obtained judgment against borrowers and led collection efforts to recover on the same (e.g. bank/wage garnishment, judgment debtor exam, etc.).
  • Represented employer in connection with dispute over termination of a former employee. Obtained favorable settlement.
  • Representing homeowner in multi-million-dollar construction defect dispute against general contractor, and nearly 30 third-party defendant subcontractors. 
  • Representing estate in two parallel litigations regarding ownership over multiple properties and assets of the deceased; asserting claims of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult and undue influence against former caretaker.  
  • Assisted as a Pro Bono attorney for Arizona Justice Project on a habeas corpus, wrongful conviction case that was appealed to the 9th Cir.
