Overview
As an associate in the trial group, Leyla is a dedicated and persuasive client advocate. With responsive and effective communication, Leyla assists clients with all aspects of litigation including discovery, civil motion practice, case strategy, and trial preparation.
Before joining Dorsey, Leyla served as a judicial intern at the United States District of Minnesota, represented indigent criminal defendants, and worked with American legal scholar Mark W. Osler filing federal commutations petitions and reforming clemency policy. Leyla remains committed to pro bono service representing criminal defendants and appellants in both federal and state court.
