Overview

Through Tim’s regulatory, litigation, and transactional experience, he assist clients in finding practical and efficient solutions to a range of environmental issues affecting their businesses.

As a Senior Attorney in Dorsey’s Regulatory Affairs Group, Tim guides clients through complex environmental matters under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); the Clean Water Act (CWA); the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA); and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). Tim’s experience allows him to assist clients through the lifetime of a project, through project development and permitting to continued operation, ongoing compliance, and sale or acquisition. 

Tim represents a range of industrial, commercial, and government clients in hardrock mining, energy, real estate development, renewables, and water quality matters. Tim also assists clients with the environmental due-diligence components of real property and mining transactions. 

When not practicing law, Tim enjoys reading fiction, following his beloved Boston sports teams, and (most of all) spending time with his wife, Amy, and their two kids.
