WITH BOTH PROSECUTION AND TRANSACTION EXPERIENCE, KERRY LEE HELPS CLIENTS PROTECT THEIR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COMMERCIALIZE IT.

Kerry Lee is a partner in the Intellectual Property group. She prepares and prosecutes high tech patent applications such as for computer memory, medical devices, and machine learning—including ones related to industry standards. Kerry Lee manages prosecution of international patent portfolios, particularly in China, Korea, Japan, and Europe. 

In addition to patent prosecution, Kerry Lee drafts and negotiates agreements for technology transactions including intellectual property licenses, software licenses, research and collaboration agreements, and terms of service. She also assists in due diligence for intellectual property in corporate transactions and advises on software licensing issues.

Utilizing her past university technology transfer experience, Kerry Lee provides agreement support for clients receiving government funding and clients collaborating with research institutions. She assists with complying with government grants including Bayh-Dole compliance.
