Margot Laporte has joined Dorsey & Whitney LLP as a Partner in the Government Solutions & Investigations (GSI) group in Washington, DC, the law firm announced today.
“We are thrilled that Margot is joining our GSI group and bringing her wealth of experience, further strengthening our strategic international capabilities,” said Beth Forsythe, Partner and GSI Practice Group Co-Leader for Dorsey. “Margot is another important addition to our team, along with new Dorsey GSI partners Andy Stone and Seth Goertz in Phoenix.”
Margot advises global clients on cross-border internal and regulatory investigations, white collar criminal defense, securities enforcement matters, and regulatory compliance, including with respect to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), anti-money laundering regulations, economic sanctions laws, insider trading, and accounting fraud. A French citizen, Margot speaks fluent French. Margot joins Dorsey from Miller & Chevalier.
Margot received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law and her A.B. from Dartmouth.
