Corporate Team Recognition
The Legal 500 research team praised the Dorsey’s Corporate practice for its “commercial nous,” with capabilities in domestic and cross-border public and private transactions, as well as corporate advisory services, including tax structuring and debt advice.
This recognition follows a significant year for the Corporate practice, which included advising listed law firm DWF on its recommended takeover by private equity investor Inflexion and advising Manara Minerals on its acquisition of a 10% stake in Vale Base Metals Ltd.
The London office’s strong cross-border capabilities in advising U.S. and Chinese clients on Equity Capital Markets deals were also recognized. The team was also lauded for its “significant knowledge in schemes of arrangement” and “a strong sense of calm and collaboration.”
Trial Team Recognition
The London trial team at Dorsey & Whitney was acknowledged for being “able to handle highly complex matters with high stakes very well,” citing examples from key clients including Watchstone Group, DnaNudge, and FRP Advisory Trading.
