David Tang Shares Observations on SEC's Recent Constraints After Several Judgements

Partner David Tang shared his observations in a PrivateFundsCFO digital magazine article on the implications of recent judgements against the Securities and Exchange Commission. Expecting copious amounts of SEC rulemaking texts to come, David commented: "The SEC is going to have to be extra clear in their rulemaking releases, a rough equivalent of legislative history. The deference is gone. If you want to defend your rules, you'll want to be sure they're clear on its face and provide detailed interpretations up front. That's easier said than done."
