International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP is pleased to announce that Cornell Leverette Moore has been named one of Savoy’s 2015 Most Influential Black Lawyers. Mr. Moore is Of Counsel in Dorsey’s Minneapolis office, Co-Chair of the Diversity Steering Committee and Member of the Minneapolis Recruiting Committee. He represents major energy and natural resource companies and counsels governmental, private and public company executives on strategic and operational matters.
Savoy’s 2015 Most Influential Black Lawyers list is comprised of the “best of the best” of Black lawyers that are partners within leading national law firms and also corporate counsel from Fortune 1000 corporations. This is the definitive and most comprehensive list of Black lawyers compiled within the last five years.

Mr. Moore has served on the boards of many organizations and universities including William Mitchell College of Law, Howard University, Virginia Union University, Minneapolis Public Housing Authority, Twin Cities Diversity in Practice, the Boy Scouts of America, Johnson C. Smith University and Dunwoody College of Technology. Cornell is the recipient of many awards such as the Legacy Award from the Pan African Community Endowment, the Kappa Alpha Psi Distinguished Citizen Award, the Child of America Award and the Whitney M. Young Service Award from the Boy Scouts of America and the 2013 William and Kate Dunwoody Philanthropist Award. In 2004, he was elected Grand Sire Archon of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity at the 47th Grand Boule`.
