The recent bank failures and subsequent resolutions by the FDIC of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank have not ended the economic disruption caused by those failures.
This session will update our clients and friends on issues of concern as the bank resolutions proceed, including risk management concerns by depositors and borrowers at banks. Among other things, our bank failure experts will address: (a) the recent events and current status of the bank resolution process, including the impacts on uninsured depositors, borrowers, letter of credit beneficiaries, loan participants and other creditors; (b) how the FDIC and acquiring banks will interact; (c) the exercise by the FDIC of its receivership powers, including important FDIC interpretative guidance; (d) the depositor claims process; and (e) risk management practices to be considered.
We will also address a selection of specific questions recently raised by our clients.
