This one hour seminar will present a panel discussion that focuses on four topics that are relevant in the current economic environment:

  1. acquiring of distressed businesses or assets in bankruptcy court; 
  2. rights of parties to contracts, including intellectual property licenses and leases, when a counterparty files for bankruptcy; 
  3. special bankruptcy code protections for derivatives and other capital markets transactions; and 
  4. litigation in bankruptcy court.
