Dorsey earned Mansfield Certification Plus in 2021 after completing the Mansfield Rule 4.0 twelve-month certification program. This certification measured whether law firms have considered at least 30% women and attorneys of color of leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, and senior lateral positions. Dorsey’s “Plus” status indicates that, in addition to meeting or exceeding the pipeline consideration requirements for Certification, Dorsey has successfully reached at least 30 percent women and minority lawyer representation in a notable number of its current leadership roles and committees.

Dorsey received a 100% rating—a perfect score—on the Human Rights Campaign’s annual Corporate Equality Index for the sixteenth consecutive year. The index measures employer performance in ensuring fair and open workplaces for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees and consumers. 

Dorsey was named a “Best Law Firm for Women” again in 2021 by Seramount (formerly Working Mother Media). This is the fourteenth time Dorsey has been recognized as one of the “Best Law Firms for Women.”

Dorsey again received Gold Standard Certification from Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) in 2020. WILEF Certification is the only initiative directed toward certifying, publicly recognizing and broadly publicizing eligible law firms that have integrated women into the highest leadership positions in the firm.

Dorsey was once again recognized as a Top 100 Adoption-Friendly Workplace by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in 2021. This is the sixth time Dorsey has been recognized as a top workplace for its adoption benefits.
