Dorsey & Whitney, as the seller’s counsel, advised Guangzhou R&F Properties Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 2777) (“R&F”), a top-ranking property developer in China, in its establishment of a joint venture with The Blackstone Group Inc. (“Blackstone”) by selling a 70% interest in Guangzhou International Airport R&F Integrated Logistics Park to Blackstone valued at approximately US$1.0 billion. R&F and Blackstone envision the establishment of the largest logistics park in China’s Greater Bay Area to capture the strong momentum driven by e-commerce trends in China.
