Bulwark Corporation Closes on $80 Million Real Estate Sale with The City of New York and Extell Development Company
Bulwark Corporation, a Delaware registered company, closed on a complex $80 million sale of two midtown Manhattan buildings, associated leases and land to The City of New York and the Extell Development Company. The City intends to use the property to build New York’s largest subway station, along with a park and boulevard as part of the Hudson Yards development program. Developer Extell will build a mixed-use, 1.2 million-square foot building above the subway terminal.

Allergan Collaborates with Clinique on New Skin Care Line
Dorsey represented California multi-specialty health care company Allergan, Inc., in the formation of a strategic collaboration with Estée Lauder-owned Clinique Laboratories to develop a new skin care line. The new line, which will incorporate the Clinique brand name, will be sold exclusively in physician offices in the United States and is expected to launch in the fall of 2008.

Dorsey Win for UK Client is Significant Bankruptcy Law Decision
Dorsey clients Monitor Single Lift I, Ltd., Monitor Oil PLC and Monitor US FinCo, Inc. ("Monitor") prevailed in restructuring proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The Court denied a bondholder group motion asking to abstain from hearing the Monitor Chapter 11 case in favor of an administration proceeding in the Cayman Islands or the United Kingdom.
