Dorsey & Whitney Names Roderick N. Dolan Chief Financial Officer


MINNEAPOLIS (August 18, 2008) – The international law firm of Dorsey & Whitney LLP today announced that Roderick N. Dolan has joined the firm as its Chief Financial Officer.

Dolan joins Dorsey from Piper Jaffray, where he most recently served as Managing Director, Acquisitions. He joined Piper Jaffray in 1994 as a Vice President, Investment Banking and later served in a number of leadership roles, including Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer for Investment Banking, Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer for Corporate and Institutional Services and Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Investment Banking.

Dolan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Brown University, a master’s degree from Oregon State University, and he is a certified public accountant. He serves on the advisory board of the United Labor Center Building and Granite Global Ventures, and is a member of the Paintings Council at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
