Over the weekend, we sent the former employees cease-and-desist letters and a temporary restraining order that we intended to file before they started work at the competing firm. After negotiations, the departing employees agreed to refrain from contacting any of our client’s existing customers for six months and to forego any contractual right to compensation during the non-solicitation period.
